Follow device prompts
Use the buttons on your device to navigate. Choose to set up a new device or restore one only if you already have a recovery phrase.

Write down your phrase
Your device will generate a recovery phrase. Write it on the supplied recovery sheet, in private, and store it somewhere secure.

Install Ledger Wallet
Use the official Ledger site to download Ledger Wallet (formerly Ledger Live), verify your device, and follow its in-app setup guidance.
